Summary : An area of Roman settlement, part of Easton Grey Roman town, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The site extends over an area which measures 210 metres east-west and 145 metres north-south. The site comprises two crofts or rectilinear enclosures, two hollow ways, circa 12 pits, 5 extractive pits or possible grubenhaus, a possible hut circle and a building or an area of hardstanding. The crofts or rectilinear enclosures appear to be multiphase, with ditches intercutting. The northern enclosure appears to cut a possible Bronze Age round barrow or a Later Prehistoric or Roman curvilinear enclosure (1522405). The possible building or area of hardstanding is located adjacent to the Foss Way. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the Cotswold Hills National Mapping Programme.
