Summary : Underground railway station, opened on 1st April 1914 by the Metropolitan Railway, now serving the Hammersmith and City line. It was constructed as part of the electrification and improvements to the line which saw the original Shepherd's Bush station being replaced with two new ones - the new Shepherd's Bush to the north and Goldhawk Road to the south.
