An RCHME 1:2500 scale, level 3 air photographic interpretation project (Event UID 936869) was carried out on this monument in January 1992. The feature referred to as East Kennett 4 appears as a chalk spread suggestive of a ploughed out mound, with a central hollow. The second feature, East Kennett 5, has been given a new record as SU 16 NW 134. The archive created by this project (Collection UID 936807) is held by RCHME. (5)
The faint trace of a possible spread round barrow traces of a central mound. The site was mapped from aerial photographs for the RCHME: Avebury World Heritage Site MP. (6) |
