Probably mid 18th century. Pavilion to north-east: 2 storey garden house. Brick with rustic stone quoins, string over ground floor (which is stone-fronted to road) moulded cornice and parapet. Each of 3 sides has a central glazing bar sash on 1st floor and a door on 4th side approached by external moulded stone steps with wrought iron railings.
Wall between pavilion and screen: About 6ft high, of coursed and squared rubble, about 30 yards long.
Wall between pavilion and gates to north: Brick with stone base. About 50 yards long, about 12ft high ramped down to gate piers (also brick, with ball finials). (1) |
