| Summary : A Second World War rectangular anti tank pillbox, located at the south east corner of Lodge Hill Royal Naval Armament Depot (Monument 1077634), is visible on aerial photographs and has been mapped as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The pillbox was part of the perimeter defences of the Armament Depot, and also overlooked the course of the Hoo Stop Line (Monuments 1542577, 1542630, 1542646). It was extant when surveyed as part of a Built Heritage Assessment undertaken in 2009. |

The pillbox is 9.3m long and 4.6m wide. It was part of the perimeter defences of the Armament Depot, and also overlooks the course of the Hoo Stop Line (Monuments 1542577, 1542630, 1542646). (1)
