| Summary : Possible prehistoric hut circle within the field system of Stoke Flat. A low curving bank 2m wide, 0.15m high and 13m in length may mark the downslope side of a former circular hut. More information : SK 2503 7653 (FCE) possible hut circle within the field system of
Stoke Flat. A low curving bank 2 m wide, 0.15 m high and 13 m in
length may mark the downslope side of a former circular hut. A
profile across the feature failed to show any platforming into the
slope, however, suggesting that the interpretation of this feature as
the site of a hut should be made with caution. The north end of the
bank is overlain by a small clearance cairn 2.5 m in diameter and
0.3 m high.
