Summary : The 14th century outhouse to the west of Palace Farmhouse is all that remains of the west range of the courtyard of the former manor house of the Archbishops of Canterbury. It is constructed from flint with long and short stone quoins and a tiled roof, hipped at the east end and with a gable end to the west. Scheduled.

Outhouse to W of Palace Farmhouse, Market Place, Charing. Grade I. C14. This was part of the W range of the courtyard of the former manorhouse of the Archbishops of Canterbury. Flints with long and short stone quoins. Tiled roof, hipped at the E end and with a gable to the
W. Blocked lancet windows. (1)
