Summary : Probable post medieval field boundaries are visible as earthworks on air photographs. The field boundaries are ditch defined and extend on the same alignment as field boundaries on the opposite bank of the Trent and Mersey canal (UID 1340301), indicating they predate the 18th century construction of the canal. Elements of the earthworks appear extant on the latest 2010 vertical photography.

The field boundaries are ditch defined and extend on the same alignment as field boundaries on the opposite bank of the Trent and Mersey canal (UID 1340301), indicating they predate the 18th century construction of the canal.
