Summary : Site of a small Bronze Age bowl barrow, part of the Cow Down Barrow Cemetery. The barrow overlaps another (Monument UID 926202- SU 25 SW 181) and was designated as part of Collingbourne Ducis 8a by Grinsell (1957). Excavations by W.C Lukis between 1855 and 1861recorded ashes and charcoal within the barrow. Ordnance Survey field investigations in 1972 located no traces of the barrow, however it is visible on aerial photographs.

(1) A small bowl barrow overlapping a larger barrow, Collingbourne Ducis 8a (SU 25 SW 180). Grinsell recorded it together with Collingbourne Ducis 8a (2). It was excavated by W.C Lukis and was found to contain ashes and charcoal (3). Cropmarks of overlapping ditches visible. (4) Barrow A2 - SU 22765142. A bowl barrow not traceable on the ground but visible on Ordnance Survey aerial photographs. Sited from aerial photographs. (5-6) Site of a small bowl barrow not traceable on the ground. (7)
