Full description
1. C1 to C3 Romano British pottery and daub with marks of wattle found in a rubbish pit in Cobbs Ground or close. Area of excavation 12 feet in diameter and 3 feet deep. Mr. Chattell, the farmer, said that he cannot recall any finds being made in this area, but has noted three areas with a heavy stone scatter at TL/1991/7883, TL/1992/7883 and TL/1989/7871.Nothing of note found in these during investigation.
