A linear earthwork bank of approximately 2.5 metres in width is visible on aerial photographs between 1946 and 1978, and may survive as an earthwork. It had been cut through by modern deep ploughing for agricultural improvement before 1946; the north to south aligned narrow ridge and furrow is clearly visible across the bank on the aerial photographs taken in this year. No field boundary is depicted in this location on the 1944 Tithe map, and it is likely that this was a medieval or post-medieval field boundary that became disused before the mid-nineteenth century.
