Hegarty, C. + Knight, S., 2011 - 2012, North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV349018.

An indistinct dark sub-rectangular cropmark, 28 by 35 metres, is visible on aerial photographs taken in July 1946. Its north and south sides coincide with cultivation lines and the eastern side is aligned with other dark linear cropmarks in the field that are interpreted as drains. It is therefore unlikely that the cropmarks have formed over an archaeological feature, although the resulting shape resembles a subrectangular cropmark enclosure of late prehistoric or Roman date. The feature is not transcribed.
