This three storey house appears to be a single phase structure, probably early 19th century in date and a fairly typical small town house of that period. Internally the house has been little altered and has not been modernised. Most of the internal features (including fireplaces) date to the original period of construction. To the rear of the property, the house has been extended with a lean-to addition which served as a kitchen-bathroom. The area is at a lower level than the garden to the rear. The garden is unoccupied and it is proposed to demolish the house and rebuild a new structure on the site.
