Summary

Prehistoric cairn which has been badly disturbed and robbed lies on the southern ridge of Haytor Down; one of a group of four. The cairn consists of a turf-covered stony mound with a maximum diameter of 15m and up to 0.5m high. Much stone has been robbed out and the northern side is missing as a result.

Full description

(30/05/1999) Centred SX 7618 7653. A badly disturbed and robbed cairn lies on the southern ridge of Haytor Down. The cairn consists of a turf-covered stony mound with a maximum diameter of 15m and up to 0.5m high. Much stone has been robbed out and the N side is missing as a result.
The cairn is one of a group of four which lie along this ridge (see also SX 77 NE 49; 50; 81).
