Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1974, SX69SW26, M. J. Fletcher (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV253820.

(23/07/1974) SX 6350 9320 An undamaged turf covered cairn 5.1 metres in diameter and up to 0.6 metres high, was found during field investigation. Surveyed at 1/2500. (The position of this cairn has been plotted by Fletcher at SX 6348 9324 on his 1/10 000 field document).

This site was considered for designation as a Scheduled Ancient Monument during the Monument Protection Programme. The programme ended before the entire list of sites was successfully scheduled so this is included on a local list of Nationally Important Sites.
