Full description

Hayloft/tallet; stable. The north section of the threshing barn range is a lofted stable. Only the walls and original openings remain. Chert, brick dressings. Slate. King post roof structure. 20th century replacement roof of kingpost trusses with raking struts, ridge board and I purlin on cleats. Loading hatch; Pigeon holes; Timber window/s. Pigeon holes in gable end wall. Openings original, but doors and windows are 20th century replacements. Two doorways to front, loading hatch above and two windows to right of doorways all with brick segmental arches. Before its conversion to domestic accommodation (1999 - 2000) there was a fixed ladder to loft, stalls to rear, a feeding passage and tack pegs, according to photographic evidence. Residential conversion. Converted to hoilday let.
