Two military structures of Second World War date are visible on aerial photographs of 1941 onwards at Beesands. The two rectangular structures are positioned approximately 30m apart and are located on the shingle beach to the east of Beesands. The structures, which may have served as observation posts or coastal batteries, are visible on aerial photographs from 1941 to 1946, although both have been levelled by 1976.
