Full description

Devon and Somerset County Councils, 2000-2002, Historic Farmsteads Database (Machine readable data file). SDV349681.

North linhay. Hayloft/tallet; Linhay. The north linhay has a wagonway through, to the east of centre. Cob; Rubble stone, brick dressed walls. The rear wall to the east has been partly rebuilt in rubblestone. The rear wall to the west of the wagonway is cob. Corrugated iron roof. A-frame. 5 bays to east of wagonway. Roof much repaired in the 20th century. Two original A- frames, as in linhay BH046.5. Open front; Tallet. The west two bays are still a linhay but only one bay is still lofted. This has full height posts and tallet beams, notched and pegged with mortise and tenon joints into posts, which rise through the tallet to support roof. The open front is partially blocked with concrete block. Hayloft. Current other use as a Tack room. Now used as tack room and kennel.
