Bakehouse and cellar. Cellar; domestic use. Directly behind the house, there is a long, single storey building which is divided into two sections. The north section was used as a bakehouse and the south section as a cellar. Rubble stone walls. Asbestos sheet roof. A-frame. The roof was originally hipped and was replaced in 2000. The present A-frames have substantial, but waney principals, with notched, mortise and tenon X-apexes. The lap-jointed collars are plain and held with a single peg each side. The original ridge has gone but there is still a single set of back purlins. The cellar is 2-bays long. The southern truss is closed with a partition. Door/s; metal framed windows/s. Doorway opposite the farmhouse back door has a 20th century frame and plank and ledge door. To the right, there is a 20th century replacement door to the cellar. There is a long, thin window with glazing bars to the left of the bakehouse door. The bakehouse has a large chimney stack. There is a 20th century window in the blocking of a doorway in the east gable end. In the bakehouse, which is separated from the celllar by a stone crosswall, there is a fireplace under a huge plain lintel. An oven, with a brick surround is positioned in the north cheek of the fireplace. It has a cast iron door. Some blue lias flooring remains. Currently used for a domestic utility/storage; tack room. The cellar is now used as a tack room.
