Cattleshed. The upper two bays of the main range, which was built as an animal house, probably for cattle. Chert walls. Corrugated iron roof. This section of the main range has a corrugated iron roof covering. The lower bays are slate covered. Tie beam truss. A 2-bay roof of a tie beam truss with a notched, X-apex. The tie beam has been cut off and a secondary, bolted collar has been introduced. There are sockets for queen struts. Originally, there was a single set of trenched purlins. They have been replaced by two sets of back purlins on cleats and a double ridgeboard. Door/s; loading hatch; timber window/s. The main door is ledge and brace, held on strap hinges with teardrop finials. The frame is solid and pegged. In the rear wall, there is a window with a 20th century timber frame. In the east gable end, there is a loading hatch. Originally it was larger. The door and frame are replacements. There is a weathervane on the apex of the east gable end depicting Old Father Time and a metal hayrack on the front outside wall. Feeding gap; hayloft. There is a feeding gap to the rear. The loft is supported on three beams and joists resting on fillets on the tops of the beams. The floor is concrete. The internal masonry jambs of the door are rounded. Currently disused.
