Full description

Cider house. Originally, this eastern section of the north range could have been a cider house. It has an apple loft. More recently it has been adapted to house modern farm machinery. Rubble stone walls. Corrugated iron roof. A-frame. 2-bay cider house. Same roof as threshing barn, BH194.2. Door/s; timber window/s. The front wall has been largely rebuilt in concrete block and a large, wide opening has been inserted into the wall with 20th century double metal doors. Loading hatch to loft with solid pegged frame. In the rear wall there is a blocked ventilation slit. Apple loft. Part-lofted. Concrete block crosswall between barn and cider house. Blocked connecting doorway through to cattlesheds. Half height stonewall at east end. Currently disused.
