A possible hulk of modern date is visible as a structure on aerial photographs of 1942 onwards, along the western bank of the Exe Estuary. The hulk is northeast to southwest aligned, measures approximately 9m in length by 3m in width and remains visible as a largely intact, complete structure on aerial photographs of 1947. The former vessel is no longer visible on aerial photographs of 1963 and it is unclear given its intact condition whether the vessel was deliberately removed or has been covered with the estuarine muds.
