A hulk of modern date is visible as a wrecked structure on aerial photographs of 1941 onwards, along the western bank of the Exe Estuary. The hulk is east to west aligned, measures approximately 27m in length by 5.5m in width and is first visible on aerial photographs of 1941 as a wrecked structure, having been abandoned sometime after 1930. The former vessel remains partly visible as a wrecked structure, largely covered with mud, on aerial photographs until 1955. The hulk is no longer visible as a structure by 1969, although elements of the former vessel may be preserved within the estuarine muds.
