54B, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV115714.

Two tumuli on aylesbeare common. About 30m south east of the scheduled tumulus (54b) is a small, low tumulus, and about 15m beyond this is another, not easily discernable. Not scheduled.

SMR records a small low barrow, and another, not easily discernible, some 30 metres from it (? to southeast). Features could not be located during field survey. Area under dense gorse 0.3–0.5 metres high. Site situated on south facing hill slope.

Two small barrows circa 15 metres apart.

SMR records a small low barrow and another not easily discernible some 30 metres from it (to southeast?). Features could not be located during 2002 field survey. Area under dense gorse 0.3-0.5 metres high. Site situated on south facing hillslope

Area still under dense gorse 0.3- 0.5 metres high. Barrows not located. Appear to be under no threat from foot traffic.

Protection during vegetation clearance.

Barrows not visible but possible interpretation as one of a group of barrows in this area.
