A probable quarry, potentially of medieval or post medieval date, is depicted on the tithe map for Exmouth and Ordnance Survey First Edition 25 inch map. Both historic maps depict the pit as a pond surrounded by rough ground. Images derived from Lidar data reveal the full extent of the earthwork to be an irregularly shaped earthwork pit up to 50 metres across. The pit is depicted on the tithe map and Ordnance Survey First Edition 25 inch map and has therefore not been transcribed.
