Quarry (Greensand) to east of Dunscombe Manor. Used in 14th/15th centuries for work on Sidbury Church, later for buildings at Slade. Re-opened in relatively recent times for Woolbrook Church and re-opened 1980 for restoration of Exeter Cathedral. 'Old Quarries' marked here on OS 1890 map. Not marked on modern map.
