Summary
Remains of a building at Brimpts, thought to have been a shippon constructed in the mid-19th century. Freestanding to the south-east of the farmstead. Fell into disrepair between the late 1940s and the early 1990s. Roofless at the time of the 1993 survey. Constructed from roughly coursed granite rubblestone. Rebuilt sometime between 2006 and 2010.

Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Late 19th century map depicts this structure in the south-eastern corner of the farm.

Survey depicts possible shippon and describes construction. Thought to be built in mid-19th century. Rectangular, freestanding, rooflesss. Probably 1.5 stories tall - certainly appears to have had a loft of some sort. Constructed from roughly coursed granite rubblestone. Roof structure unknopwn.
