St leonards chapel, dalditch. Authorised for use by the vicar of east budleigh by bishop brantyngham 12th october 1381. According to an entry: in bishop lacy's register, the licence was continued in 1435 (brushfield). Reichel refers to one of three chapels in east budleigh licensed by bishop lacy which must have been at dalditch, but no trace of it exists. Dedicated to st. James.(reichel,1914-1915). St. James's chapel at dalditch was one of four chapels in the east budleigh crown estate (reichel, 1920-1921).

St Leonard’s Chapel, Dalditch. Authorised for use in 1381; the licence was continued in 1435. There is also a reference to a chapel at Dalditch dedicated to St James. The sites of the chapels are not known. Parts of the survey area lie within Dalditch.
