Evaluation undertaken prior to a planning application submission for a proposed residential development of the site.
A pit located at the eastern end of the Trench 61, contained a single fill which was similar in nature to the overlying subsoil . Two sherds of late 18th to 19th century pottery were recovered from the fill of this feature. This pit was not identified by the preceding geophysical survey.
