The South African memorial board from Kilmington was constructed from a yew tree reputed to be over 1000 years old and located in the churchyard.

Wall-mounted wooden board, arched at top with carved columns at side, brass cross top centre and trefoil shapes carved out of base. Inscription in gilt lettering: TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN PIOUS MEMORY /OF/ (NAMES)/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR ENGLAND/ IN THE BOER WAR 1899-1902/ GIVE PEACE IN OUR TIME O LORD.
