Orchard banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible as a series of earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards at Tedbridge. The site of the orchard is symbolised on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s, although is first classified as an orchard on the Bradninch parish tithe apportionment of 1838-48. The surviving orchard banks are northnortheast to southsoutheast aligned and occupy an area of approximately 0.25 hectares of gentle north facing slope. The earthwork banks remain visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2002 and are likely to remain extant at the time of recording.
