County bridge stone 5 metres north of bridge. Early 19th century. Microchipped 13/10/2005.
NGR given for stone is SX7006173770, but this places stone in field east of the ford in Ponsworthy. Photographs of the stone set into a wall, at ground level. Rectangular stone, marked with a 'C'.
Therefore, the stone is thought to be that marked by the bridge, which the county have responsibility for maintaining.
