Full description
Royal Air Force, 1946, RAF/CPE/UK/1823, RAF/CPE/UK/1823 RP 3304-3305 04-NOV-1946 (Aerial Photograph). SDV354994.
Roughly east to west orientated earthwork banks are visible.

Orchard tree planting banks of probable post medieval to 19th century date are visible as earthwork banks to the north of Bolealler House on aerial photographs of 1946. Evidence of at least 8 banks between approximately 3 to 4 metres across is visible, the earthworks orientated roughly west-north-west to east-south-east, on a small plot of land in the fork of two roads.
The banks correspond with an area of orchard depicted on the Ordnance Survey first edition 25inch map but all trees had been cleared by 1946. The earthworks are not visible on more recent aerial photographs or lidar images and have probably been levelled
