Summary
A roughly semi-circular feature, visible on aerial photographs taken in 1989, is probably a low earthwork bank. It could be a post-medieval stock enclosure, but other interpretations are possible. The area is now densely tree covered but earthwork remains may survive.

A roughly semi-circular feature, circa 35 metres across and 14 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1989 apparently as a low earthwork bank. The feature is not visible on other available aerial photographs, but a semi-circular uncultivated area corresponds to the earthwork and is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and on more recent aerial photographs. Its location, size and shape are consistent with an interpretation as a post-medieval stock enclosure, but other interpretations are possible. The area is now densely tree covered but earthwork remains may survive.
