Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A pale curvilinear cropmark, circa 1.5 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. It manifests in the same way as a former field boundary immediately to the north depicted on the Tithe map, with which it is contiguous. It is therefore interpreted as having formed over the remains of a field boundary bank of probable medieval origin, removed before the mid nineteenth century. Only the cropmark that does not correspond to boundaries depicted on historic maps has been transcribed. It is not visible on later available aerial photographs, but it is possible that below-ground remains survive.
