Building is depicted on the late 19th century historic map (and the earlier Tithe Map).

Main building of the three. North-east end is built into the hillside to first floor level. Pent roof. Stone blocks and lime mortar. Building is 5.5 metres wide with central opening (window / door?) 1.2 metres wide. Evidence of the feather and tare method of granite splitting used; no sign of drilling present. Some overgrowth recorded on the site. Survey date 21/10/2011, seven photographs included.
