Discontinuous curvilinear cropmarks defining a roughly circular ditched enclosure are visible.

A possible circular ditch and bank defined enclosure of possible later prehistoric date was visible as a cropmark on digital images derived from infra-red aerial photographs of 2006, on the south-west facing slope overlooking the River Weaver.
The possible enclosure is defined by discontinuously visible cropmarks that have been interpreted as showing a possible double ditched enclosure up to circa 50 metres in diameter.
The enclosure might be co-located with a smaller, roughly trapezoidal enclosure that is possibly later in date, but this relationship is unclear and further investigation is recommended.
