Summary
Two curvilinear earthwork ditches, one with a bank, are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on images derived from Lidar data captured in 2005. They are interpreted as having formed over the remains of medieval or post-medieval field boundaries, removed before the mid nineteenth century. It is very likely that earthwork remains survive.

A curvilinear earthwork ditch with a bank immediately to its north, each circa 2 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and on images derived from Lidar data captured in 2005. It matches the alignment of another east-west aligned ditch in the field to the west, which is not visible on the aerial photographs and is much broader at up to 5 metres. Both fit into the surrounding field pattern and manifest in the same way as former field boundaries in this area that are depicted on the Tithe map. They are therefore interpreted as having formed over the remains of a two field boundaries of medieval or post-medieval origin, removed before the mid nineteenth century. It is very likely that earthwork remains survive.
