A curvilinear bank, circa 2.5 metres wide, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and as a cropmark on more recent aerial photographs up to 2010. It is roughly parallel to a removed field boundary depicted on the Tithe Map approximately 110 metres to the north-east. The cropmark may have formed over a medieval field-boundary bank, which fell out of use before the Tithe Map was surveyed in the mid-19th century, perhaps during a period of land reorganisation associated with nearby Southey Barton. Slight earthwork remains may survive.
