Condition on 4th November 1992 stable. Skirt of barrow south of boundary (out of area) has been ploughed. North part of barrow is in unimproved heathland. Some disturbance visible on top of the mound, possibly rabbit burrowing. Depression approximately 4 metres by 2 metres immediately north of mound suggests disturbance.

Visited on 8th July 1997. This barrow stands in a field just to the east of the Seaton Road on the border between Farway and Southleigh with the southern part of the mound just touching the Southleigh border (the field boundary does not follow the border). It was estimated in 1997 to be about 30 metres in diameter and about 1 metre in height although the northern part of the barrow was obscured by gorse. The depression immediately to the north of the mound reported by Simpson and Noble was not visible in the overgrown conditions.
