Summary
A possible former field boundary of probable post-medieval date was visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s as an earthwork bank and possible ditch to the north-west of Poundapit Farm. The earthworks have since been levelled.

A linear bank and possible ditch are visible.

A possible former field boundary of probable post-medieval date was visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s as a linear earthwork bank and possible ditch to the north-west of Poundapit Farm. The boundaries were visible for circa 170 metres between the line of the road (now the B3181) to the south-east and the relict earthworks of former watercourses it abutted to the north-west; this association with former watercourses might support the interpretation that the earthwork bank and possible ditch also had a drainage function. The earthworks have since been levelled, probably during the construction of the M5 and widening of the B3181.
