The banks fell within the area of a depicted orchard.

Earthwork orchard banks were visible to the west of Moorland Farm on digital images derived from lidar data. The banks, probably made to facilitate drainage, fell within the area of a formerly larger orchard potentially of post medieval date, as depicted on the first Edition Ordnance Survey map of the late 19th century. The orchard remained planted into the 1940s but all trees had been cleared by the 1960s.
