Orchard banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible as a series of linear earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1966 onwards, at the former farmstead of Leverlake. The site of the orchard is listed as such on the Tiverton parish tithe apportionment of approximately 1838-48 and remains largely in use on aerial photographs up until 1946. By 1966, the orchard trees and associated farmstead have been completely cleared, leaving a series of parallel northwest to southeast aligned earthwork banks, on which the fruit trees were established, visible. These banks occupy an area of approximately 0.21 hectares of fairly level ground within a single rectilinear shaped plot depicted on historical mapping, on the south side of the former farmstead. The orchard banks remain visible as a series of earthworks on digital images derived from Lidar data captured between 2005 and 2012.
