One of five ring ditches of probable prehistoric date is visible on aerial photographs as a cropmark on a saddle of higher ground to the west of Sunnyside Cottages, overlooking the River Culm to the east and a tributary combe to the west. The cropmark is up to circa 1.6 metres wide and encloses an area circa 7.5 metres in diameter. The five ring ditches are closely grouped and might be evidence of an unenclosed round house settlement, potentially associated with linear ditched features, possibly field boundaries, also visible as cropmarks in this area.
