A possible ring ditch is visible on aerial photographs of 1966 as a cropmark on the south-west facing slopes of a spur, south-east of Beare Farm. The cropmark is between circa 1.5 and 2.2 metres wide, enclosing a roughly circular area approximately 14 metres in diameter. A possible break is visible on the western edge of the cropmark. The ring ditch may be the remains of a barrow of Bronze Age date.
