Summary

Four small earthwork mounds are visible on aerial photographs to the south-west of Columbjohn Wood. The mounds are possibly the remains of tree mounds of post medieval date.

Four earthwork mounds are visible.

Four small earthwork mounds are visible on aerial photographs to the south-west of Columbjohn Wood. The mounds are aligned along the south-east edge of a track, are roughly circular in shape and measure between 7 to 8 metres in diameter. The mounds were probably the remains of tree mounds of post medieval date. They are not visible on more recent images and have probably been levelled.
