Possible orchard banks of post-medieval to modern date are visible as a series of earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the south of Brithem Bottom. The northwest to southeast aligned earthwork banks occupy an area of 0.16 hectares of gentle southeast facing slope within a single L-Shaped plot depicted on the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48. The earthworks appear, however, to be slightly more extensive on aerial photographs of 1947, possibly extending further to the northeast into the adjacent field, although were too poorly defined to transcribe as part of this survey. The earthwork banks remain visible on digital images derived from Lidar data captured between 2005 and 2010.
