Possible orchard banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible as slight earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1989, to the southwest of Higher Shutehanger. The north to south aligned earthworks occupy an area of approximately 0.38 hectares of fairly level land and were not visible on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey.
