Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The mid 19th century map shows the earlier Huntsham House south of the existing building, just north of the church. There are ancillary buildings to the north and an enclosed area to the west with two ponds. There was a driveway running between the house and the church from an entranceway flanked by two small plantations, opposite what is now the School House.

Parkland and gardens around Huntsham Court included a lake with a boat house, a swimming bath, a walled garden and orchard to the north-west of the house, and an ice house to the north-east. Map object based on this source.

Comparison with the Tithe Map shows the road along the south side of the grounds to have been moved southwards, presumably when the new house was built and a new driveway with a lodge at the entrance created.
