Plot 338 on the Blackawton Tithe Map of 1840 is recorded as 'Quarry Park' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field name indicates the presence of a quarry within the vicinity, although no features are depicted within the field on the Tithe Map. There is, however, a semi-circular stretch of boundary at the northern end of the field indicating that the field boundary is respecting the layout of a possible feature within this location.
